Do you need time?
I guess the answer to this is yes. Time goes past so quickly.
As a carer time is a valuable commodity.
We need time you care. We need to wait for appointments and funding.
We need time to sort support. We always seem to be in a queue for something and this time is waisting oppotunies to provide the best care without collaboration from health teams. doctors. Hospitals and the benefit system.Â
Most of the time as a carer you get talked down to your opinions and feed back is often not taken as part of the picture.
When infant it’s a vital part of the system
A doctor a a disabilty social worker they spend at most 2 hours with the person you care for and with doctors it’s as little as 10 minutes if your lucky. They can’t possibly know your person better than the one who provides the care.
Let’s also add the time spent on phone calls and filling in forms to get the support that you have to do around the physical in person care.
Sorting out and updating everyone that is involved with that person’s care needs .
I make the most of the time I care by making it meaningful, making memories that maybe take the mind of the persons pain or anxieties .
Time is short you never know when that will change.
That’s it for today.m
Much love Faye

Time is my most valuable asset. I have to have ruthless concentration in even just establishing my next 3 comprehensive steps in my complete definite purpose in life
True . Also when you lose someone. You also wish you had more time just another moment. Just one more hug or conversation
Oh yes indeed. I know that everything else can be replaced, except the time spent with loved ones. It is what compounds time, already emence value, 100 fold. The older I get, the more prevalent this concept becomes.
Me to i lost a lot of family
