What activities do you lose yourself in?

I can get quite hyper fixated on projects,

Crafty ones,birthdays,photography, food.

It’s normally around my children or family and Hayley.

When my kids were little, it was their bedrooms school dress up day,

It’s about making someone feel special and important, focusing on their love of things.

I enjoy seeing their faces light up.

I guess you could say it’s a mood booster to do things for others.

It doesn’t matter what is going on in your life problems or struggles having something to focus on takes your mind off negative thinking, an activity can sometimes get you out of that loop.

But of course, though, there is sometimes a downside to that when the project is finished, the excitement has died down your looking for the next project so you can always feel that feeling.

We are quite a routine kinda family , some may even say as an autistic family repetitive and restrictive, (but within that bracketed and terminology ) and empathic want to help others and feel others we have learnt to add some spontinaity of spreading a little joy to others.

We had Jake’s and Amarah’s birthday in Febuary, Tom’s birthday party was today, and now I am hyper focused on our niki’s upcoming birthday.

It is actually helping to take my mind off the car being broken and needing a new clutch and the hefty price tag to fix it. Still hopefully by Monday that will be fixed and that issue is dealt with.

It’s too big a job to do ourselves, which is a frustrating bit. As most of the cost is labour. Still onwards and upwards, as the saying goes, I have a birthday to plan🤣🤣

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

There isn’t one thing that made me grow as a person the most. There were 2 things.

BECOMING A MOTHER

BECOMING A CARER

Both shaped me as a person.

Both taught me resilience, strength, compassion, and love.

Both taught me to laugh , cry,

Both made me cry and laugh and gave me anxiety and excitement.

But most of all, they taught me to lead with my heart, to advocate , to care deeply.

That’s it for today, much love Faye

Do you believe in fate/destiny?

DONT WE ALL AT SOME POINT

FATE AND DESTINY

I think that there is a little bit in everyone who feels that at some point in their  lifetime.

Maybe it is that college acceptance, the perfect job at the right time.

Or someone walks into your life, and you feel like you already know them.

A friend for life or a partner.

Fate and destiny may not always show up at the right time, and plans get in the way, maybe your not ready to accept it. At that point in your life.

I do believe in it. But I also believe you have the power in yourself to change anything.

You didn’t get that job, you didn’t pass an exam, and you lose someone too soon.

It just wasn’t your time at that precise moment.

Maybe fate and destiny show up in your life to make you determined to do what you have to do to make it happen.

Fate and destiny alone are just 2 words. Allowing yourself to be open to different possibilities. Now, that is an actionable plan. Where all those wishes and dreams can come true if you believe in it enough.

Destiny and fate can’t be rushed if you want a long term affect.

They say people come into yours life some for a short while to teach you some for a little longer to shape you and test if you’re ready for the lifelong ones who will always be there

Fate and destiny are a feeling deep in your heart. You know, when it’s right, your heart does summersaults it makes you anxious and excited all at the same time.

HAPPY SUNDAY

Much love Faye ❤️

My approach to budgeting is to simple not buy unnessasary stuff. Great in theory not so great in practice if you have limited budjet after all bills are paid. I don’t want to work hard to not get some small little pleasures in life.

I have really made progress in Paying something’s off. Still have a way to go, but definitely on the right track for a bit more financial stability. in the later part of this year.

I have been keeping an eye to make sure things are paid on time, keeping a regular soft credit check through my bank app.

Funny thing is I would love to get to point where I have back up money in bank for emergencies . and some savings they tend to happen often and leave me playing catch up.

I have managed to cut my food shopping bill a lot without going without.

I shop around for better deals, utilize reward points,

I decided to keep self marketing my book for now as that isn’t an expense I can’t logically or financial take on outside help right now.

We reuse or fix things ourselves rather then replacing wherever possible.

My next step is clearing the last of credit card and not having one. The thing about credit cards is it .They easy to max out not so easy to pay off. At 26.6 APR you kind of get a little stuck in a rut especially if your financial circirmstances change. they only really work to your benefit if you can clear it each month.I guess the biggest change for budjeting is mindset. you have to tell yourself to get your head out of the sand and deal with it.You ignore it, It doesn’t go away it just gets worse.

Changing direct debit dates helps to sometimes a small shift helps you keep on top of things.

Maybe sometimes paying in cash rather then tapping that card is easier to keep on top of things once your purse is empty that’s it with your card you tap and go those little taps add up quickly before you know it you exceeded your budget.

Well that it for now

Have a great time budgeting

Much love Faye
