Emo The Emotional Elf

Do you or your family make any special dishes for the holidays?

We kinda follow traditional dishes for the Christmas holidays.  Turkey. Gammon. lamb and all the trimmings that go with Christmas meal.

Easter, we mix English and Greek traditional meals.

Because celebrating both cultures is important to us.

Halloween holidays, that’s where you can get a little more creative with foods and explore some different flavours and creepy styles.

Winter holiday months you do the more warm meals like stews and cassarols. roast dinners hibernation mode

Summer holidays are more bbq salads and lighter foods. Chicken. lose all the weight you put on from colder months.

I guess it’s very much like the animal kingdom. That gather things to get them through the colder weather.

It’s probably why people are drawn to duvet and sofa days in colder months and have less activity. Which almost certainly adds to the pounds around the waist line. And the motivation to get beach ready as soon as spring hits ready for summer activities.

Hope you have a wonderful day

Much love faye ❤️
