What is your favorite place to go in your city?

I dont live in a city, just a town it’s grown over the years with new neighbourhoods.

Popping up more little areas to shop locally.

But I have to say my favorite place to visit is the local nature center .

No visit is the same, changing seasons different things going on.

How the lakes. Trees, wild birds. It’s always bustling with people and animals, kids playing.

Families having picnics playing games.

Different seasons. Weather and different times of the day.

Always an ice cream van. Go ape was added a few years ago. Haven’t tried that yet , on my list of things to do.

They have a little animal centre to. Summer time is great to visit thier the most.

They have a few small shops and cafe.

Also, a Smith and Western restaurant.

I have previously shared pictures in blogs about it.

My childhood memories are full from there.

Whether it was with family or friends or church ountings.

We hiked played rounders fished with dad.

Claimed trees scraped knees got covered in mud. Probably, each of us has fallen in the lake at some point.

Then, there is the perspective of viewing it as a parent taking my own children.

Getting exercise with Hayley, wheeling Tom in hos wheelchair or building dens with the kids.

Some places will always be a special place to visit and keep you returning multiple times a year.

I really liked taking baby Amarah and my daughter to the dinosaur event last summer.

Sometimes, they have music events there, too.

Photography capturing nature has such a calming effect.

This is definitely my favourite local place to be.

Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

I wouldn’t have to say my book and authorship  . Because that is a personal story if we take out anything to do with everyday life and things I get for my kids.

The original Partnership publisng contract was £2700 but it wasn’t all my own money that purchased it. I had a little help raising funds. From family, friends, people met online.

It is with kindness that the biggest purchase happened.

As well as that, though there were other expenses to becoming an author.

Word press subscription and business pack. Adobe . Microsoft office. Adobe indesign, which is what original publishers used, so needed that. To get it ready for republishing.

I also used to veed IO when I first started doing YouTube as I was trying to add subtitles and edit videos a little .

Being an author isn’t easy or cheap a lot goes into publishing.

Which reminds me I have added an external link to my book on the home page menu.

Now is the optimal time to do my own marketing for the book.

Some people have human emotional support .Some people have animals.

What podcasts are you listening to?

I don’t think I watch many podcasts accept, maybe pokemon ones on YouTube  and book podcast. I do like listening unless you count any video talking about specific things.

To be honest I can’t really tell the difference between  Maybe I need someone to explain the difference .

Are they not all the same? Accept some you listen to, and some there’s a video with.

Or listening to the radio don’t they all fall under the same umbrella but with new names being given to them. To make it feel shiny and new? To get a new lot of engagement, new followers?

Since publishing, i have had to learn all sorts of things.  This still slightly baffles me.

The pandoras box you learn something new and they change it up. You always have to unskill.

It’s slightly off original topic but who is using the new windows 11. Have you noticed updates? It kind of completely paralize your computer sometimes, and you constantly have to wait for fixes to be sent out.

I spend more time updating just to get it to work it really has hindered my writing a little.

My computer says it can’t update to it.

DON’T THINK I HATE WINDOWS. IT’S EASY TO USE IF IT IS WORKING WELL

My hubby got me the laptop when I published i wouldn’t be on WordPress if he hadn’t given me the freedom to write.

My own space to express my own creativity. But also for all kinds of things relating to care. I did invest in an external hard drive to keep the majority of photos just so it didn’t blue up the laptop space and for keeping important documents.

Always back up regularly, that is the biggest lesson i have learned .

Podcast, though I don’t think that’s something I would do. On my own, I prefer writing to talking
