What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?

The fact that we are grafters working class. We are doer’s. fixer’s. 

Oh did i mention if family needs us we always there.

We are neighbourly.

We know how to throw a party make a buffet and feed the five thousand.

We always in each others buisness. A LITTLE NOSEY.

Curtain twitchers always watching out for others in neighbour hood .

Good at being prepared for anything.

Pretty reselent despite challenges.

We love our heratage.

We watch over our vunerable.

We have british humour its dry humour

Now maybe pur politiancians should have the same standards as every day people the world would be a better place

What’s your all-time favorite album?

Thos is a hard one to choose.

I think it changes flthough differwnt ages and stages of life as a teen it was the Adam Ant album.

20’s Gloria Estafan. Or Maddona

Then came the coutry vibes of Shania twain. Patsy cline.

Paloma faith.

Maxwell.

To be honest i like compilatons frpm all genres of music. Mix it up a bit.

Like when you were a kid and make mix tapes.

Also kimda depends on your mood and feelings.

Music is inter changable likes moods.

I think these days as music is there so readly. Its hard to choose a definitive one.

Plus a lit of music gets leaked before release the buzz kinda makes you not want to go get it if its already there.

In your hamds on your phone.

Growing up in my days we sabed up pocket money to be able to go to woolworths to go get those cd’s records. Tapes.

Our Hayley used to collect the Now albums i still try get them for presents for her. But i lost count along time ago what number they got to.

Do you see yourself as a leader?

I woild say as a carer your kind of a leader because your incherge of making sure everything runs smoothly.

Gets adjusted. Appointments. House needs. Care needs.

But really the persons needs are the true guide and leader in  these situation.

You may look like your in cjarge have a role of being a leader. Buy really your the one being adpated around person centered care.

They are the true bosses and leaders ypur paid to carry put aservice that serves them noy the other way around

It should never be about them changing to meet your goals buy about you supporting them to reach thiers. 😀

Good evening.

I am so out of practice with blogging. But new blogs with content throughout this year I haven’t yet had a moment to sit and write.

Without mum to share it with it’s tough she used to phone as soon as she read it.

She would say it made her laugh or cry yes she used to feed back my spelling mistakes or grammar issue’s but not in a judgmental way but in a more supportive way.

She was always the one that supported me with everything cheering me on telling me I got this sharing my work like a proud mother does.

I think it helped her a lot to still feel connected during her long stays in hospital. A catch up on everything we was up to as a family, she never wanted to miss out on a moment of our lives.

With her health issues and disabilities from the time of the first lock down she hated the isolation and not being able to enjoy life like she used to.

What ever it be, the blog our You Tube ,Tik Tok or face book when she saw it she was the first to like share I always say I love you. She really was the best mother.

My heart is still empty without her, like a numbness a piece missing that should be still there.

I am still affected still sad about it, still feel the trauma of the last few moments.

I guess start.

i shall be back with more happier and colorful posts over the next few weeks
