What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

My car , I normally use it daily, how ever that’s on pause till Tommorrow as we have to change a part we got to fix it , having brought a new water pump and timing belt kit , we found out we don’t have to remove the timing belt to get to it. So we will exchange it when shop opens on Monday for the other belt and just a water pump.

Hopefully the rain will hold off till it’s all done.

Then we have to try and find a new plug for the air flow that has broke. That is finding hard to source Vaxhual don’t do it anymore and the breakers yard don’t have it.if not we shall have to try something to fix it.

That’s the oldest thing now but really I only got the car in 2016.

We had to replace clutch 3 times the master cylinder twice the exhaust and brakes multiple times drop links and cv joints. Not to forget the tyres because people leave nails in the road,

Oil changes , spark plugs and air filters

Car maintaining is an on going thing. Most of the work we do ourselves except the clutch of course.

My car though has had a lot of usage we need at least one more year before we can change it next time though I don’t want a second hand one. Or an expensive one just a new one economical.
