Hi all how are you, we had a very relaxing weekend just pottering in the house, a mum and son trip to the local Waterstones for Jake to get a new book, and have a drink in the cafe. It is becoming his new favorite place to go. He finds the atmosphere of the book shop very relaxing.
With everything my kids have been through or struggle with reading has never been an issue for them, they have always been really advanced with it. They lost their love of it for a while, but now it’s has come back we are going through books real quick here.
He keeps asking to go😀
Sunday was the day we went and spent some one on one time that was his choise of things to do, I also used the opportunity of being out to get a few ideas for presents for him.

Niki stayed home with her Dad, it is her turn next week, to have one on one time out. I am looking forward to that.
I love reading as much as writing especially with kids, the way their taste in books change as they level up on the reading comprehension.

We have gone through quite a few books , These are just a few.
Books play such a special part in the world, and bring such diversity to our lives, fiction, non fiction, ebooks, paper back and even audio.
Books that are delivered in braille, books that are illustrated or photo’s. Factual book, books in many different languages or styles.

But sharing your own is also a big blessing. Writing from your heart, what you feel, what you think there in black ink dancing on the paper, bringing the book alive. The part of your soul not many people get an I site into, the bits of you ,you didn’t even know we’re there before writing.
The act of reading can also Diagnosis brought , relief, understanding, many emotions, and anxieties out into the open, I see my book as the step to really become who we are ment to be, a way to not only empower kids and teach understanding for others who maybe find life more difficult than the average person. To empower parents to talk so they can process their own feelings . To get people talking to combat loneliness amongst the special needs families , or any family going through a tough time.
The act of reading can also be a great calming technique, whether it’s together or alone. Head in a book, lost in the story.
Life can be as simple as that sometimes. 😀❤️
Jake has definatley got more books he would like this Christmas,
Have a beautiful night
