World book Day 🌍📖

A very important day for kids and parents and of course Authors.

Over the years I have made many out fits for my kids , for this very occasion.

I love it, it inspires authors to write ✍️

Parents to sit with thier kids and read, children to grab that book and plan what outfits they want to where

Some parents hand make them with the help of thier children, and some buy them, either way it is about encouraging a sense of love for reading and learning.

My children not so little now something they haven’t done since they left middle school, I reckon they would still love too but the school’s don’t do it at secondary. Such a shame really.

I found it was a beautiful bonding moment for us aswell.

So well done 👏👌 everyone who took part. You looked amazing.

My Niki and I it was fairy books when she was young, then going onto Anne of Green Gable. Oh and twilight.

Josh Harry potter of course and many others.

Jake was factual books, then he changed to ones like My brother is a super hero series , Radio boy, the list is endless.

Me I am a romance type of reader, or true stories.

My husband he likes the classics.

Niki was off college unwell today we shall see how she feels tomorrow, they have had one confirmed case of scarlet fever we were informed today.

He had a great day at school today, he said the head teacher came to the class, with a lady, who asked him a couple of questions , he happily answered. Not long ago he would not have if he didn’t know them, so progress in talking to adults.😁

Emo the Emotional Elf

That is coming on great, been working at it all day, I made a list of all the things I need to do and will go through them one by one.

The list is longer than I thought,

About 16 things to go through if anyone thought becoming an author was simply writing a book, it isn’t

It is tough, challenging, mind boggling, 😵 doing it with the help of a publisher, was easier then doing it myself, but that is the way it is at the moment.

As much as it is all of the above it is also fun, exciting, ai am learning some new skill sets to things I already know.
