Hi all, my update on the author event was going to happen the other day but i wanted to process everything and pay tribute to other authors that were there first.

The day started so fantastic slight nerves and although my family offered to come with me for the whole event, I went on my own because I wanted to prove to my self I could do it. setting up was real easy, meeting and talking to the other authors was fantastic.

As the day progress the more easier it became to speak, it was great to see friends and family visit and show there support, I was on cloud nine when my hubby and Jake turned up. i could get used to doing that more and sharing the book and talking about the reason for writing the book.

I finished in time to get to Jake`s kung Fu Graduation he was awesome and is now Brown belt.

The day finished off celebrating Hayleys birthday and karaoke it was such a mixed day of really beautiful happy moment`s and memories.

Now today has been a little more challenging  Ehcp review for Niki went so well and now she is settling in we are focusing on making sure the right support is in place and that she is able to say she needs help before she can`t ask. was a good opportunity for Niki to say  how she is feeling things are going , and what is working well and what she maybe struggling with. they are also going to give her some more support with social skills and emotions. Their want to make sure she has the correct support is so very refreshing to here, and really appreciated, by both myself and Niki. it really should have been like this all along.

Had lots of other things to sort today so slowly getting through all the forms we have to complete yearly to keep on track of the children`s needs.

My aunty had a fall at the care home on Saturday and bumped her head, but they were amazing they were prompt in calling to let us know and get her checked out at the hospital. and after a night of observation at hospital she is now back at the care home.

This is our lives so much goes on every day but we carry on and keep talking and sharing how we feel.

Jake has had another couple of days of extreme tiredness and headache so was off school again. but he said mum check online there is a new book review it made me smile because he left his review online he didn`t use his name because they said he could choose a name he chose elf on the shelf to leave his review i think he choose that because when we were raising money Emo the elf donated and it made us all laugh;

I love hearing what he really thought about the book and he did note there were a couple of mistakes so you know it is a real honest review from him and how he really feels.
