Tonight I am on a night shift with both Hayley and the children, it has been a fantastic evening I got to show the children the book and thier little photos in it. They loved it a lot and it made them smile to be included in the book.

Holly liked it so much she went off and drew Emo and presented me with a picture, Ellie thought it was great and loved the photos of her I chose. The not so little  Tom thought it was funny and said I love you.

We were having alot of fun tonight talking and playing. I have a hand puppet Emo which I used to put a show on for them Tom wouldn’t stop laughing he found it extremely funny when Emo sneezed while counting to ten.

The kids settled so sweetly I was signing to Tom Ed Sheeran and close to you while making the hand puppet dance he was smiling and joining in it was a shame I was playing the music on my phone because it was such a sweet moment that he joined in. He is getting really good at communicating with his eyes now.he even managed to say no to some of the songs I thought he might like.

I really think this is because of everyone that gets to work with him. We all have our own unique ways and he has his own communication style for us all.

Ellie and holly like helping today as they often do when I with them they settled very quicke and Emoust have worn them out. Hayley enjoys joining in with us all too so a great nights work.

It’s so great to be able to use the elves not only withy family but with my work as a carer aswell.

It is a roller coaster on your emotions when writing and putting your whole self onto paper and into a book. It is an achievement like giving birth to your child and nurturing and helping them grow and develop.

I want all kids to feel they matter and are able to face challenges and still grow.
